Seriously, no worries about Elder Farnworth..

Dearest Mother,

*This is Kaleb's response to a letter sent with numbered questions for him to answer.

1st I would like a few things:
 That blanket from IKEA

2nd I never said I didn't have my visa, we don't know but weird thing happened they had our whole zone leaving with the plans I sent you, then half of the zone (me included) just got switched to an eariler flight! Crazy! I'll write you the exact times for the new flight I leave the MTC now sept. 30 insteed. They don't tell us about our Visa until the day of.. so dumb I'm gonna go in and ask today I will let you know.

3rd. I HOSTED A ELDER FROM THE PATTENS WARD!! So insane! It was super awesome to help people through it all. There was one kid who didn't cry at all and the second he turned the corner he just lost it all. So sad but I totally talked him through it and I saw him yesterday and he was a rockstar so all it well.

4th Okay so we will buy the phone cards here. I have spent some money on Dry cleaning, and they have these cool garments so I just got 2pairs. But Yeah I'll buy them here. In the letters I'll let you know when I will call. We leave the MTC at 3:30 am for a 7:45 am flight so I think I'll be calling bright and early.

5th Thanks, love you a lot.

6th I emailed Zac and wished him a Happy Birthday:)

7th Nothing I can really think of. I swear I think of stuff all week and can't think of anything when I'm emailing. I'll send you a list. I scared I won't be able to fit everything in my bags. Sometime this week I'll be sending my temple package home. We don't take those. We only go the temple once a year so no need.

8th I am a little worried, but I am sending home temple clothes so I will have that as my carry-on then my side bag will be with me and they I think with those two out there should be a lot of room.

9th So yeah like I said. The flights changed so I will send you a new schedule but it should all be fairly the same. just one day eariler and I got Utah > Chicago > New Jersey > Sweden. So its insanely a lot of flying but I so stoked!!

10th  Thank you so much instead of a huge letter this week I sent some pictures. The weeks are pretty similar. So it's hard to write. I love it here so much.

11th No temple walk visit? Probably a good idea. I'm just getting over you guys :)

12th I just want RECENT pictures of all you guys. Like just in the front of the house the pictures we all took are a bit old. Like a group and then everyone alone. if you have time. The picture we took of the kids for you that one time got water so if you could resend that one. Then just some of the dogs. I love all the pictures I have now so much.

13th- 16th I love you so much. I will remember to go the bathroom often. Will you just send me that blanket, I want a phyiscal thing from home, other than my monkey:) I love everything you have done. Don't ever worry about me. Other than the homesickness at the beginning this has been the greatest thing of my life. I love it so much. Seriously no worries about Elder Farnworth.

17th So we aren't gonna be resigned! Well we won't know I will know for sure if I got my Visa by the end of this week! But If I get reassigned I get to email you right away so you will know!

Okay I love you so much . I'm gonna send more pictures so that is why this is so short. I love the package so much. You are a rockstar mom. I will TALK to you in a week!! Enjoy the pictures this place is a blast.

Love,
Elder Farnworth

I LOVE THE MTC

Well this week as been one big blessing! I only have 2 weeks left! How crazy is that! I am so excited to go though.

But it is also super bittersweet because I LOVE THE MTC. They say no matter how much you love the MTC the field is like 10 times better. If that is true then I am in for a treat! That is so awesome about the new calling Mom! You will do great! I still can't believe how much things has changed!

So HOLY COW I've been out a month? WHAT? When did that happen? My teachers continue to be amazing and loving. This week was funny. A lot of crap happened that really could have made this week just terrible but when all you are focusing on is the Lord and positive thought nothing can bring me down! This week more than any I really need some time to just talk with someone, since I'm not home and can't just go into your office or go talk to Dad, I talked with a counselor Branch Presidency instead. Another amazing experience.

I went in a little upset and he has got to be one of the nicest man I have met. He just told me how proud he was and I felt like I was talking with one of you two. It was really cool. Tell Patrick to email or write me! I have so much to tell him! He has nothing to worry about at all! His MTC is seriously like a temple! It's so beautiful! So this is kinda funny but in my district everyone other than my comp and another elder can sing so we are auditioning  to sing in the big devotional! There is no way we are gonna make it but it is so fun to practice singing. We are singing The Sister In Zion / Army of Helaman song. It's super good! Love it. I go the temple every Sunday.  :)

So super cool moment I was teaching this kid who only is taking the lessons because if he doesn't his mom will kick him out. So he wasn't very easy, So we are teaching and it is going okay (not great, just okay). Anyways into the lesson we had just been talking, not teaching, and I just randomly pick up the scriptures and turned to a scripture on faith. And when I read it the Spirit was so strong there was no way he didn't feel it. I love the Spirit and the work here!!

I took the challenge that I give to everyone. I always tell people if they would read the Book of Mormon they would know with out a doubt that it is true! So I started Thursday and I read and right now I am in Helaman 1! It's amazing, Everyone should do it!! Love it!

Sorry I don't have tons to say the weeks FLY BY!! So to make up for it I'll send some pictures!! So all the first 3 are my awesome Dane friends. I love them so much! They are all going to BYU when they get home so it will be so sweet!! Elder Ogden has the glasses, Elder Zenger has the curly hair. The sisters are all gonna be writing me when I leave which isn't aganist the rules cause we are in different mission!! LOVE them all. I will get a formal picture of the all soon.

I love it here and love you guys soooo much!

I LOVE SWEDISH!!

Thank you so much for the package. I LOVED it. Nothing like getting a package to start a day off right. I still can't even wrap my head around the fact that Dad isn't bishop anymore. I always am like "My dad is a Bishop... oh wait, he WAS a Bishop." It taking some getting use to.

This week was so cool. I had a really hard in the beginning, because I felt like I wasn't far enough along in the language as I should be. So I started doubting myself and it really wasn't good, but the Lord is just awesome because we had a devotional all about feeling the spirit and how to pray and stuff, so I just said a prayer and ask Heavenly Father to bless me to know that I am doing all I could, and then just had faith and the next day after that we taught and it was the first time I taught I honestly felt that I wasn't restricted from the Language! I LOVE SWEDISH!! The teachers has become like my best friends, we do one on one studying sometimes with them and we go and it's nice to be away from everyone and have some personal time with them. They seriously are all the nicest guys. I am blessed.

I glad you like my iPad, I guess if I can't have it I'm glad you do! OH! So I woke up and seriously felt like death. It was so bad. And I just prayed and I know it sounds silly to pray about that, I just couldn't be sick. And within 3 hours of my prayer I felt like 100% again! It was so awesome! Little miracles like that are happening all the time. Its all thanks to this gospel! Its amazing what faith can do. Hey so with the next package in the letter or something, will you send me my patriarchate blessing full size, I was to shrink it and laminate it here again. The one I have they store just did an awful job and it's no straight. Oh also will you find the journals I brought and get me one more. I know I'm gonna fill them quickly and would rather them stay the same. I love writing every night. It really is such a great way to count all my blessing. So some fun things we are doing here. We have a shower choir, so if you ever want to hear some quality songs sang by 8 missionary while they shower, you know where to come. I think I'll take the record us! Haha, we sing like Disney songs so it so so funny! Seriously the bouncy balls you gave us are the greatest things ever, my teacher has ADD so bad and he just sits there while he practice the language and throws them around. It is so funny! He is so awesome. Seriously next to you guys, he is gonna be a really hard goodbye when I leave here. I just need to stop bonding with people... Haha just kidding I love being social. My comp complains cause I can't walk passed anyone with out striking a conversation and asking them where they are from and where they are going. I'm friends with all the Chinese speakers They have to be here for 9 weeks! I can even imagine. I mean I love it here, but now enough to be here 9 weeks. I'll take my 6 weeks! Crazy thing! I will be at my 1 MONTH mark in a week!! Like... WHAATTT?

Where is the time going.... Oh so this is a random thought but I have to share. I'm sitting in a computer lab right now and the sister next to me is getting so mad at her computer.. She is Chinese and she is like randomly yelling at it. It is taking everything I have not to bust out laughing. So great. sorry random but so funny. It make me think of  you when you use to get so mad when the computer wasn't working then I just come in and fix it. So funny! Anyway. To Summertime this whole letter. All is well here. I go running with these guys from the other Swedish District it is like one of best parts of my week. We just vent about hard things that are happening and stuff its good. I really hope to be comp with them in the field! Love them. Everything is looking up for Elder Farnworth! Love getting the letters I do! I sure feel loved! I can't wait for the kindergarten pictures! I'm going hang them all around my classroom so make sure they are good! :)

I am so stoked to talk to you guys in 3 weeks! Can't wait to show off my Swedish! I had a dream in Swedish last night. It wasn't like Fluent but still very cool. What do I miss most about home this week? Pedicures. What I would do for a pedicure. I'll be prayer for you Mom really hope things start to calm down for you! So awesome about Jacob doing Lacrosse, he is a stud. I was so jealous of them at the game. We had to stay inside during the storm. It killed me. Cause I left my classroom and I could hear the crowd yelling. Such a cool thing for them. Well I'm praying for you and love you so much!! Thank you mom and dad for everything you have done. I know this isn't easy for you! I hope you know that I love and am thankful for everything you have done. I love talking about my family so much. I bring you guys up every chance I get.

LOVE YOU!!

This is probably the best week of my life...

This week was probably the best week of my life, but oddly enough it was also the hardest. I am learning so much. Every single day I learn more than the day before. That is so bittersweet about Dad, he was such an amazing Bishop, but I am glad that he gets to do something else now!

The Swedish is coming so quickly. It's so weird when my teacher speaks with me he doesn't ever speak English and I can understand every single word he says, okay well not all of them, but I look at them as like a puzzle if I know like half the words I can put the sentence together! It really is amazing what I can do when the Lord is with me. The first few days were the hardest, I was super homesick and that is all I really thought about most of the time! But when I changed the reason I am here the whole experience changed. I still think of you guys all the time but it's just like happy thought not sad thoughts! I can definitely do this.  We finished with our first Investigator and he turned out to be our second teacher! So that was weird but we got 2 new investigators and we taught one of them yesterday and he was like the worst experience ever! He is so hard to teach he really acts like he doesn't even want to be here and he barely listens to us teach and the language is so hard to understand him cause he mumbles super bad and stuff. But I decided that we are going to change his whole attitude about it all! I promise he is going to love us by the end!

I love writing out my testimony it is so cool that I can look at the page and just know what it says! I really get amazed when I learn as much as I do! So we end up spending about 10 hours a day in the classroom, he have actually renamed it "The Cell, or The Island' ha ha But I am so lucky to have such an amazing district we have a lot of fun. Okay I have to say that you were right about the bouncy balls! They were a huge hit! We play with them all day even my teacher uses them so I guess you were right again ;) The food is super good, a ton of people complain but I love it. I have quit soda and stick with chocolate milk, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its like the good kind from Costco... Yum. I don't feel like I have gained weight like I'm still a stick but I really want to gain some weight.. oh well.

Side Note! I swear I am still finding the little notes you hid through out my bag, like once a week I open a new notebook and just find them! It makes me day for sure! The sisters in my district are awesome, sometimes they get annoying cause they think we are children cause they are like a year older but for the most part they are cool. Um I see people I know like every single day. Seriously like there is a kid in my zone, three kids in my residence hall and then I just past everyone! It's really fun and cool! I love the camera! I gave the sister a Thank You card for breaking my last one :) ha ha I promise that I will never break anything else! I love the little "Do Not Break" note on the bottom I feel like that has Dad written all over it. Tell who ever wrote it thanks it keeps my careful. I seriously am so glad that you love teaching! Its funny that you fasted for me cause I fasted for you guys! I felt your blessing a ton and I hope you felt mine for you.

I realized I haven't told you guys much about my companion. Like picture someone who is the exact opposite of my in every way and there ya go. He is super quiet and really never talks that much. He is good for me though cause he makes me have to be quiet and like listen, to be honest I don't think he likes me to much. he really prefers to do everything alone and really doesn't like working together on anything. He like to plan his own lessons and not really do thing together. So I have to push him to include me in the planning and I think he looks at it as controlling. But I really do think that we are starting to figure out how to work with each other, I just have to push him most the time. Oh well. I'll get a new one in the field! I would love the picture from the class that sounds awesome. I really love all the letters I have gotten from you guys!

Oh yeah, most the Elders and Sister in this zone call me spider-man cause I guess I look like The new spider-man, ha ha the sister even asked for pictures with me.. so yeah you probably will be seeing them in the tabloids pretty soon :) Because we are in the class a lot so we take a ton of walks and see nature, We have a new found love for trees and the sun.. But it's so much fun. The Temples walks on Sundays something that get me through the week for sure! Then getting to go through the temple on Tuesday is so cool too!

Starting this week we are starting to do SYL which stands for Speak Your Language. So basically when ever we learn a word in Swedish we are no longer allowed to say i it in English so that will be interesting to see how that turns out. So everyone in my district are starting to get Strep throat I haven't gotten it yet (knock on wood) . So maybe if you haven't sent the package put some airborne in it! I wash my hands like 50 times a day. So I think I am safe but I mean still it's gross. That's awesome that Emma saw me. I see a ton of kids that are going to BYU all the time walking by the temple its super weird to see them but I love it.

Well I have to go do my wash! Thanks for the emails, write me this week! Always love hearing from you guys! I love you Mom more than you will ever know but this is so important what I am doing!

Love You!!

P.S.
We had a devotional from the old MTC President and his wife at the Philippians MTC, seriously Patrick is going to love it there. The building is so beautiful and the people just seem delightful. They showed us tons of pictures and every single one of them looked like pictures of Temples! Seriously so cool! Last Tuesday Night for our Devotional We had Elder Anderson speak! He was amazing it was such an awesome experiences. I really loved it, I get to have another devotional tonight and I am so excited for who ever is going to speak! It is always a secret right up until it starts so it's really exciting. So for the rest of my day I will go to the Temple and then Choir and Devotional so much fun! You should get the pictures soon!
